Groups of 20 or more can climb aboard the Osprey for a two-hour lake tour with a naturalist. From November through February, tours focus on the Bald Eagles and unusual birds who make Cachuma Lake their winter home. From March through October, the cruise takes a look at area wildlife, wildflowers and resident birds along the shore. Cruises are not available on Mondays. Reservations required. Cost: $15/adults; $7/child 12 and under.

Return to Freedom is a 310-acre ranch that offers dozens of quiet, outdoor settings for meetings, programs and a variety of group and solitary activities. Consider a walking meditation through herds of wild horses. Or, while enjoying the grounds, climb a magical tree house in the 60-acre oak forest – a perfect spot for contemplation, meditation, yoga or special times with your group.

Sanctuary Tour
This is an opportunity to meet the residents at Return to Freedom with an introduction to the Sanctuary and an overview of the American wild horse. Group tours available for up to 20 people, contact the program coordinator at least 10 days ahead of time to make arrangements. The sanctuary tour generally lasts approximately 1 1/2 hours.
**Tours outdoors on uneven, rocky ground. May not be suitable for seniors.
