Golfers will have to contend with blustery ocean winds, giant eucalyptus trees, patches of ice plant and ocean fog. The course has narrow fairways and small greens that are well bunkered. Hit the fairways and greens and at all cost AVOID the ice plant. Marshallia Ranch is well marked for yardage and is the third most challenging military course in the world.
